Eco Kitchen Starter Set with compostable sponge cloths, cellulose sponge, wooden dish brush, replacement brush head, and dish soap bar

Ecoliving

"As a working mum with two young children Jo could see the growing plastic crisis and did not accept that waste is an inevitable consequence of how we consume products. Having set up a reusable nappy network she was constantly looking for ways to reduce plastic use and to cut single-use household plastics out of her life but struggled to find the right products. Either the plastic-free alternatives she looked for did not exist, or they weren’t truly plastic-free, biodegradable or compostable. With a firm belief that no matter what you are looking for, there is almost always an option that is comparable in price, equal or better in quality, and that doesn’t come at the expense of others or our planet and as a mum who values family above all and wants to be able to tell her children that she did everything she could to be part of the solution, she took action. In 2014 Ecoliving was created to support small independent companies that shared her vision of sustainable living to bring you products that are sustainable, effective and accessible to all. We've all heard, “It’s about the bottom line.” But here at Ecoliving - Planet comes before Profit Sustainability is at the core of all we do from transparent and ethical sourcing, production, and distribution of products that truly deliver on social responsibility claims."

beeswax wraps

Honey Bee Good

"Our beeswax food wraps are unique! They’re 100% hand-cut and hand-waxed by us (no machines, not even little ones), pine resin-free (an allergen), jojoba oil-free (not FDA-approved for food contact) and Certified Food Safe. Plus, we've just won LUXLife's 2024 Home & Garden Award for the Best Eco-Friendly Beeswax Food Wrap Manufacturer in the UK! We are Michele and Andrew, the British-American partnership (in life and work!) who started our business in 2020 and we’ve been happily covered in wax ever since. Our wraps are truly hand-made from start to finish in our little studio. Andrew measures and cuts every square of fabric and Michele cooks up the wax mixture, paints it on each wrap, then folds, labels and packs them up, ready for their new homes. Our beeswax wraps are some of the only ones in the market to be independently tested and certified food safe, so you know that our wax mixture does not come off on food, and there are no harmful chemicals or substances."

Soap by

Saint Monday

"Saint Monday began producing and selling soap bars in 2019. Each bar is handmade in Leicestershire, England. As consumers becoming ever more conscious of chemicals in domestic products and their effects on themselves, their families and the environment - Saint Monday soaps are made from simple, pure ingredients that provide effective home cleaning without complex chemicals and plastic packaging. The Saint Monday name celebrates the regular 17th Century practice of staying off work at the beginning of the week and also recognises that Monday was a traditional laundry day."

Zero Waste Club

"Feeling frustrated and let-down by the extent of the damage we have done to our environment, two friends - Rishi and Pawan - went in search of answers. While the markets are changing slowly, they noticed that many products that are eco-friendly are given a luxury label. They also found that many products sold under the “eco” label tend to stretch the definition of sustainability. Thus they decided to start their own journey to produce truly sustainable, beautifully designed, ethical and vegan essentials at affordable prices. And here we are! We want to do more than just make beautiful eco-friendly products. So we are going to make the most transparent, ethical, sustainable goods company on earth."
